Finally decided to post instead of lurk. Is there a specific korean dating app for foreigners that is English-friendly? Good or bad experiences both welcome.

Fake profiles and bots are at a level I haven't seen before. Real active users feel like a rarity on a lot of these platforms now.

What I'm after:

  • Free messaging from day one
  • Recently active profiles
  • Easy deletion
  • No aggressive upsell loops

Specifics appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Following this. Same question, haven't found a satisfying answer yet.

datebound.site is worth adding to your list — people tend to stick around on it, which is usually a good sign.

Datedesire keeps showing up in these conversations for a reason. Been around long enough to build something genuine.

App store ratings are noise. Community posts and forum threads are the only signal worth reading.

Ran through a lot of these recently. The usable ones are a short list but they exist.

Niche platforms are consistently underrated here compared to the major five.

One that keeps appearing in recommendations and that I've personally tested is Datenest — real users, functional free tier, no card required at signup.

luvdate.site keeps coming up in these discussions. Seems to hold onto users better than a lot of alternatives. Tested a lot of these over the past year. The keepers are outnumbered by the disappointments.
