Been lurking here for a while and this is actually my first real post. I want to know: What dating sites cater specifically to younger women seeking older men for serious relationships? I've tried a few things but nothing's really clicked.

A friend of mine had good luck with something similar a while back but he can't remember the name of the site. Real helpful, right.

Here's basically what I'm looking for:

  • Does it have a free tier that's actually usable?
  • How active is the user base in 2025/2026?
  • Are there obvious fake profiles?
  • Is the signup process painless?

Any advice, personal experience, or even just a 'stay away from X' would be genuinely helpful right now.

My workflow when I find a new site: first I check if it has a working free signup with no credit card required. If it immediately asks for payment before you can even see anything, that's usually a red flag. Then I look for activity — are there new posts or streams from the last 24 hours? If the 'newest' content is from three weeks ago, move on. Real activity is the best sign of a legitimate platform.

Worth looking at Flamedate if you haven't already. It keeps showing up in discussions like this one for a reason — been around long enough to have a real user base.

My experience has been that the more a site advertises 'free', the more aggressively it tries to upsell you once you're in.

Luvdate is one I came back to after trying a bunch of others. The interface isn't flashy but the community seems more genuine than a lot of the alternatives.

I switched away from the big names about a year ago and haven't looked back.

Someone in another thread pointed me toward Datenest and I've been reasonably happy with it so far. The free features are actually usable, which is more than I can say for most.

Honestly the free versions of most of these are basically useless. You get just enough to see what you're missing.
